At Ariel we encourage a broad range of people to participate in rowing.  We take advantage of opportunities to promote our sport at different events taking place in and around Bristol.  Most recently, the club promoted Go Row Indoor with British Rowing at the Super Human Games.  In 2018 the club ran some of the land based activities taking place at the Power8Sprints event on Bristol docks.  More locally, the club has promoted itself at Brislington's Sandy Park Spring event and outside the local Co-op in St Anne's.

We have connections with local health centres and other providers to promote the health benefits of the sport. Go Row Indoor classes are a great way to increase fitness, and has been shown to be a particularly good exercise for people who have been identified as pre-diabetic. Go Row is included as part of the Active Ageing Bristol programme that encourages the over 50s to engage in exercise and healthy living initiatives.

The club is in a wonderful location. Visitors always comment on what a beautiful and peaceful setting it is in, particularly one that is so close to the city centre.  We hold social events at the club, such as bonfire night and summer picnic which are open to the local community and are an ideal way of finding out more about what we offer.
